This Mock Competition is ideal for groomers who are ready to step into the competition world or are preparing for certification. Whether you’re new to competing or looking to refine your skills, this event provides hands-on guidance, feedback, and real-world experience in a supportive learning environment.

Event Format
The day is divided into two sessions:
•Morning Session
•Afternoon Session
Each session follows the same structure.
⸻Competition Etiquette Seminar
At the beginning of both the AM and PM sessions, Sarah Penrod of Sarah Moon Grooms will present a Competition & Certification Etiquette Seminar.
This one-hour seminar covers:
•How to prepare before a competition or certification
•What to expect and how to conduct yourself during the event
•How to present yourself professionally
•How to reflect afterward to improve future performance
The seminar is included with competition registration
Seminar-only registration is available for those not competing
⸻Mock Competition & Judging
Following the seminar:
•Dogs will be pre-judged
•The mock competition will begin
•Competitors receive hands-on guidance during grooming
•Judges return for final critiques and feedback
